Data Protection Law

The Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) is a comprehensive legislation that determines the basic principles regarding the processing, storage and protection of personal data in Turkey. This law plays an important regulatory role in ensuring the security of individuals' personal data and protecting the privacy of private life. KVKK includes basic principles such as transparency regarding the processing of personal data, compliance with the law, data security and protection of the rights of the data owner. It also regulates in detail issues such as the measures to be taken during the processing of personal data, the obligations of data controllers and the rights of data owners. Therefore, compliance with the requirements of KVKK is an important responsibility of businesses and organizations and it is recommended to consult an expert legal advisor to ensure correct practices in their legal processes.
